This page explains what information IIT Medico Guide, Nashik ("we") collects through iitmedicoguide.com and how we use it.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on this website we collect the details you type in: the student's and parent's names, mobile and WhatsApp numbers, email address, class, board, school, district and taluka, the IMGSAT day and slot you prefer, and any message you write. We also record which page the form was sent from and, if you arrived through an advertisement or a link we shared, the name of that campaign.
How we use it
- To call, message or email you about the enquiry, registration or application you made
- To send class links, timetables and test results for the free Class 10 Foundation course
- To confirm your IMGSAT slot and share the IMGSAT result, score report and scholarship
- To inform you about admissions, events and sessions relevant to your child's class
- To understand which schools, areas and campaigns our enquiries come from
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We share it only with our collaborating institution, Ashoka Group of Schools, and only for your admission.
Storage
Form submissions are stored on our own website server (and, where set up, in a Google Sheet), accessible only to our admissions team. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by writing to contact@iitmedicoguide.com or calling +91 70303 00666.
If our form service is not available when you press submit, the site offers to send the same details to our office WhatsApp instead. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.
Student accounts and online tests
If you create a student account for the daily tests or the previous year papers, we store the name, mobile number, class, exam, city and the optional details you give (school, email, parent's mobile), along with your answers, scores, time taken and ranks. Passwords are stored in scrambled (hashed) form, so nobody at our office can read them. We use this information to show your dashboard and results, to rank attempts fairly, and to contact you about your preparation or admissions if you have asked us to. On the leaderboard other students see only your first name, the first letter of your surname, your city and your score. A small cookie keeps you logged in; it is not used for advertising. To delete your account and test history, write to contact@iitmedicoguide.com or call the office.
Student photos and results
Photos, names and results of our students appear on this site with their parents' consent. If you would like a photo or result removed, write to us and we will take it down.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not identify you personally.
